Our historic, heritage listed Community Hall is located in the main street of Tyalgum,
within the picturesque heritage conservation area of Tyalgum Village,
in the Tweed Valley hinterland between Mt Warning and the Border Ranges.
Tyalgum attracts many visitors to its coffee shops, arts and crafts shops, festivals and cultural events. The Tyalgum area sustains a variety of agricultural and rural lifestyles set in spectacular scenery.
The Hall has been in continuous community use since it was built by local residents in 1908. It is regularly used for a wide range of meetings, health and wellbeing classes, community and private functions, and celebration of life services. It is also the Evacuation /Assembly Centre for the Village and surrounding district.
The Hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustic properties and is a favourite venue for musicians, hosting world class cultural and music events.
Featuring a large function space, the Hall is wheelchair accessible and includes several smaller spaces, a large separate and newly remodeled kitchen, a spacious outdoor grassed area and a covered outdoor paved area.
